Landing on Fergusson Island
Land in Salamo and take a 15 minutes walk to Gomwa
It's probably easier to find a passenger dinghy to Salamo, a major town on Fergusson Island, than other places. It also has the largest shops which allow you to buy things that you forgot to buy or you did not expect to need... Gomwa is a quiet village. Siyosi's Gomwa Guesthouse is built over the mangroves, and will offer an ideal setting to unwind and relax. Siosi is also one of the most cheerful persons on earth! The local market is massive and is full of exotic yummy organic produce and homemade sweets.
...or land in Deidei Hotspring
If you just want to see the famous Deidei hot springs, it is advisable to charter a dinghy from East Cape that takes you directly to ZIMS Deidei Guesthouse.

You can walk (5 hours-not advisable in full sun), paddle canoe with Siyosi (if the wind is suitable, 1 hour), or catch a vehicle (20 minutes).
